Visual Arts & Open-Air Installations
Among those previously held was FORA FAUNA: The Art Zoo, an open-air visual arts exhibition in collaboration with the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta. Curated by Mikke Susanto, this exhibition featured sculptures and installation works by artists, lecturers, alumni, and students displayed across the open-air grounds of Taman Gandrung Terakota. The fauna theme was chosen to invite visitors to reflect upon the relationship between humanity, nature, and biodiversity.

During Jazz Gunung Ijen 2025, Taman Gandrung Terakota also served as a venue for Beta Jemur, a batik installation exhibition featuring 50 pieces of fabric by batik maestro Dudung Aliesyhbana. These works were showcased in an open-air setting, bringing together the art of batik with the natural landscape and atmosphere of Taman Gandrung Terakota.
